  1. Loved this. Adding the book to my “to read” list. I think there might be a tie-in with socialization there somewhere too. All of us need to be able to feel our feelings rather than burying, deadening or ignoring them to the extent that it is to our own or humanity’s detriment. Also reminds me of the documentary pair, The Mask You Live In is the male half of it, covering how male socialization, to only show aggression as a male-appropriate emotion, not vulnerability of any kind, causes problems.
